ISRO AND MapmyIndia Collaboration  Why in NEWS? Recently ISRO and MapmyIndia has entered into a memorandum of understanding[MoU] for developing a fully indigenous mapping portal. What is the MoU?  ISRO and MapmyIndia has entered into a memorandum of understanding[MoU] for developing a fully indigenous mapping portal and geospatial services for India based in location-based Software and artificial intelligence based solutions. Through the MoU, The combined geospatial expertise of the department and CE info systems (MapmyIndia) will be leveraged through their respective geoportals. It also combines the power of MapmyIndia digital maps and technologies with ISRO catalogue of satellite imaging and Earth observation data said CEO of MapmyIndia. BHARAT PARV 2021    Why in News The annual event Bharat Parv was celebrated from 26th to 31st January, 2021 on a virtual platform created by the Ministry of Tourism.  On the occasion, the Ministry dedicated three virtual pavilions - Dekho Apna Desh, Statue of Unity & Incredible India.   Key Points  About the Bharat Parv:   It envisages generating patriotic fervor and showcases the rich and varied cultural diversity of the country.
